What a weekend!
I went to the Vienna airport at 6:00 (ouch) and met up with Tabbie. We got 2 seats next to each other on the flight and arrived at 10-something in Cologne. Got a BIG (yet sucky and gas-eating) VW Golf and went to the Kölner Dom to meet up with Henrieke. We had to pay for parking. Parking sucks in Cologne. D:
Went around to see some fur stores but we didn't find anything good and had lunch @ Subway. I was kind of.. distracted that day, since when we left, I put the whole tablet into the trash can.. When the others were at the car and I wanted to pay for the toilet I noticed my wallet was missing.. because it was on the tablet. DAMN. Well after retrieving my wallet from the trash can we went to a swimming pool which was very relaxing!
Spent most of the time in the whirlpool and did some flips off the 3 meter springboard (Wow I did a full-twist from a springboard for the first time there) FUN!
After that we went to Currycologne. BigBlueFox always talks about it so we wanted to give it a try.. and OH MY GOD it was certainly the best Currywurst ever :D
All stuffed we went to Nachtfuchs' place, where we've been given the warmest welcome ever! We had such a great time there and got to relax a bit. Kralle was there, and later FawksBeaumont, BigBlueFox, Timduru and Grumpfbear joined.
Also Tyler showed up shortly.. He seems to have shrunk.
Nachtfuchs gave us some Booze (Jägermeister of course) and wow, it actually helped against my headache. And I never knew you can use Jägermeister for cocktails too! We stayed up until 4:00 I think even though most people left earlier.
Got up laaate, way too late since Katara was waiting at the Cathedral. We arrived at.. 2 in the afternoon I think and went to an Italian restaurant. At first we were only Keenora, Henrieke, Tabbiefox, Katara and Yamavu (and some guy whose name I forgot). Then Kenai and Yarwick joined and then also Timduru and Grumpfbear. We were a big group of people and had lots of fun :)
After food we went to the parking lot and still had 1 1/2 hours until CFD, so Yamavu had the fabulous idea of a pre-CFD-roomparty. He had a room in a hotel on the other side of the street, so we went there and did stupid stuff which was tons of fun. Attendees were: Yamavu, Codydawg, Shivon, Henrieke, Katara, Keenora and a guy whose name I forgot.
We made a new friend, Hans:
Time passed by quickly and so we went to get our giant animal costumes and went to CFD. Lots of people were already there and I was happy to meet old and new friends again! Cheetah's set was nice but I kinda missed most of it because I hung out in the fursuit lounge and the transition to Hardstyle was so fast that I couldn't do any Tecktonik at all. (*bursts in tears*) Shame on you BBF for not playing Spencer & Hill! Otherwise BBF's set was great as usual of course, so instead of Tecktonik I just shuffled and jumped.
Between meeting people and dancing I gave Tyler a chance to socialize a bit with the other critters a bit :)
I can't remember everything, but hanging out with Dukefawks, Shay, Codydawg, Keenora, Katara, Henrieke, Tabbiefox, Kwisa, Yarwick, Kenai, Trmeerkat, BigBlueFox, Nachtfuchs, Tanidareal and all the other awesome people was great! Tabbie and me and that dutch guy in the yellow shirt had some fun on the roof of the party place later, I got a 4€ Red bull (wow, price record), and well, took more photos of Tyler :P
We stayed until the end, and the end was the HIGHLIGHT! They played Benny Lava and Rap Chop. People were going crazy, including me of course. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO MAKE BREAKFAST.
We went to Cody's place with 2 cars, and since we were starving, we went to a gas station and got some breakfast at 6:15.. yum!
Slept on a comfy couch, got up as late as possible and we went to Centro for lunch. Too bad we couldn't go to Cologne since FawksBeaumont, Yarwick and Yamavu were there during the day, but 2 hours of car for 2 hours of meeting wouldn't have made sense (especially considering how much gas the damn car ate). Cody and Keenora left after lunch and Tabbiefox, Henrieke, Shivon and I went to Landschaftspark, which was closed.. great. So we played soccer with a ball we found at a gas station. Then we went back to Centro and played more soccer. I balanced on a railing because we had to wait anyway.
Then I fell:
When Cody and Keenora arrived, we went to a Chinese all-you-can-eat Buffet which was really tasty. Keenora and Shivon were being stupid:
After that we went to a cocktail bar, got some nice cocktails, then went back to Cody's place and I pretty much fell asleep, so I can't remember much.
We got up way too late, had to stress ourselves, but in the end we caught our flight and everything worked out.
IT WAS AWESOME!
Thanks so much to everyone who made this possible. Especially Nachtfuchs and Cody for hosting us, Yamavu for a great roomparty and everyone I hung out with for making me feel great. I can't tell how much you all mean to me :)
