Location: Scandic Infra City
We got up at 9:00 and had breakfast with Eko and Jill. Then we checked out the hotel a bit. We met Sithy and Okill. Most people went to an excursion to the zoo, Henrieke and I went back to the room to get a lot more sleep. We slept until 13:00 and were being lazy until people returned. Then we went to Subway with Yotie and Ekorren, and also checked out the candy shop next door.
Later on our room we watched Ichabod and Mr. Toad with Yamavu and Ekorren.
Mag and Sweek arrived pretty late because his flight got delayed. We went to have dinner at MAX Burger with Mag, Sweek, Ekorren, Yamavu and Yotie. Back at the hotel I ran into SlyCat.
We hung out on our room the rest of the night, playing Jackbox.
We got up at 9:00 and had breakfast with Jill and Eko. Henrieke prepared signs for snack exchange on the room, Mag and Sweek were also there. We helped set up the snack exchange. There were lots of people, and I got to try some tasty green tea stuff. I also got some tasty almond M&Ms and met C_Eagle. Emejn and eps_ham were nice enough to help put the tables back after the event ended.
Henrieke lied down, I went to store to get some snacks. We had some food on the room. Then we went down to hang out near the bar with Jill, JilDuck, Shannon and Louve and artjammed a bit.
I had dinner at MAX with Henrieke. We ran in the Americans on the way back. I got into fursuit and Henrieke registered Baseball for the fursuit charades, my favorite event at NFC! The charades were super fun, and Baseball quit before the event had some NSFW prompts. They also played the Furryshop video that Trax, Shorty and I made a while back.
Baseball went to check out the arcade, then back to the room. I got out of suit. Henrieke, Yotie and Eko joined too and we watched the entire Important Videos YouTube playlist. After that we played some Quiplash.
Henrieke, Mag, Yamavu and Yotie went to the artist lounge. We discovered a hidden NFC code there.
I wandered around the con a bit with Mag and ran into Ethan, who told us stories about his time working in Japan. We also ran into Twinkie. I took some photos with the Budweiser camera Mag gifted me. I also ran into Shay and Okill. After a shower I went to bed at 2:10.
We had breakfast at 9:30 with Sweek, Mag and Eko. I helped Henrieke with setting up her Dealers Den table after, then sat together with Mag, Sweek and Procy downstairs and drew a badge for Mag. We listened to Audace and K-Mart music. After the Dealers Den opened I went there to say hi to Henrieke, then I got into suit and Baseball went to the fursuit parade, just in time. It was short but fun, and Baseball got half of a charity collection can filled in a very short time! It was also open day, meaning families with kids were at the hotel, Baseball went to the public area and played with some kids a bit! Then I got out of suit again. Ekorren brought some food from subway to the Dealers Den. I ate there with Henrieke, then I checked out the art show.
Procyon forgot his fursuit feetpaws, so he asked if he could borrow mine, I went to the room to get them and they fit! We sat in the 2nd level area a bit and chatted. Then I went back to the Dealers Den to meet Henrieke, and we went to see "Strut your Stuff". It sure was something!
We ordered 8 pizzas after for our friend group and the Americand, then I chatted with Ethan for a while during our wait. The pizzas arrived, and we ate on our room with Mag, Procy and Henrieke. C_Eagle also joined, and later Yotie as well. We went downstairs with Eko, Mag and Yotie. They sat in a corner that was too dark to draw, so I went to the artist lounge and artjammed with Yamavu, Caffrey and a bunch of Germand. I wandered around a bit and took photos of the arcade and the business complex attached to the hotel. I also took some photos of Jill, Shannon and Louve in their suits.
I went to the room a bit, then back to the Artist Lounge. Yamavu and Caffrey went to bed soon after. I drew some roos and Henrieke worked on a drawing for me. I chatted with Luno a bit about his great kangaroo fursuit. We went to bed at 1:30.
I had breakfast with Mag and Sweek, Henrieke went straight to the Dealers Den. I brought her some sandwiches there, then went to the room to shave. I checked out Spocha's watercolor panel with Louve and Mag, then I met Luno at his room and he showed me his amazing kangaroo suit!
After that I suited a bit as Baseball and collected a load of cash for charity! Mag spotted.
I got out of suit, ate the rest of my lunch and then hung out in the Dealers Den. I met C_Eagle there, also Keovi. Louve was drawing cute stuff.
I ran into Xylious and Procy in the hallway. I played some Metal Slug with Mag at the arcade, then I went to try some Surströmming on the parking lot. It was pretty alright, just impossible to get rid of the bad breath after.
I helped Henrieke carry her stuff from the Dealers Den, then to the room. I gave my feetpaws to Xylious, who was suiting as Procy's Cami. We sat on our room a bit with Ekorren, then we all went to MAX with Sweek and Mag. Procy and Xylious joined as well. The Americans also arrived at MAX a bit later.
We went back to the hotel for artshow pickup. Henrieke stood in line, Mag and I played Mario Kart. Mag eventually left to go up to Sweek, I met Louve and Jill who were having a MAX Burger. Later we hung out on our room with Mag, Sweek, Yotie and Ekorren. Henrieke and I went to the Artist Lounge. I traded with Xylious, Caffrey and Henrieke.
Then it was time for Baseball to come out. He went to the arcade and around the hotel. I chatted a bit with Ethan, then helped Baseball back on the room. I went down again and met Henrieke and Eko in the upstairs area. Also Chingado and Louve and Shannon in their suits. I spent some more time chatting with Ethan in the Artist Lounge. Then I did a last round in the lobby. Henrieke was chatting with Davuu. We went to bed at 2:40.
We had breakfast at 10:00 and spent some more time sitting and chatting with Procy, Mag, Sweek, Eko and Yotie. Then we went to the lottery draw, sadly no luck there. We met Yamavu outside, he bought the NFC doormat, designed by Flacko. We cleaned it a bit and rolled it up for transport. Henrieke drew Captain Haddock (The guy from the charity was dressed as him) and Mag signed Mausie certificated.
We sat upstairs to watch the closing ceremonies. I did an art trade with Mag in the meanwhile. It turned out that hotel staff likes us, and the theme for next year got revealed. C_Eagle joined us for a while.
We had pizza for dinner upstairs. I chatted with Swandog and Flacko for a while. I gave my tablet to Doco and chatted with him and Shorty for a bit.
I had a headache, so I went outside for some fresh air. Also tried getting some candy, but it was Sunday of course, so the store was closed. I went back, Henrieke and Eko went to Mag's room. I flopped on my bed. I joined them for some Jackbox 20 minutes later. We played a round of Faking It. Henrieke, Mag, Eko and Sweek stayed, I went downstairs and found Ethan and C_Eagle sitting together. I joined them and we chatted about animation and other things. Henrieke joined a bit later and we sat together and drew.
I went to the room and suited up, and Baseball visited C_Eagle and Ethan at their table. Baseball made sketches for C_Eagle, Ethan, Henrieke and me, then he collected some money for charity and roamed in the lobby for a bit. He also checked out the dance. They played "Love in Siberia" and other cheese. Baseball ran into Vrek, Vrot and Davuu. Baseball collected some more money, people even put 20s in there! Baseball also met Louve.
I sent off Henrieke and Yotie. Henrieke sadly had to leave earlier because she couldn't get time off. I said bye to Ethan and others, then went to the sauna with Mag, Yamavu and Ekorren. Mag, Sweek, Jill, Ekorren and I took an Uber to Gamla Stan at 14:00. We checked in at the Old Town Hotel, dumped our stuff, then we walked around the inner city.
We found a Tintin store and some Comic stores! We also went to Café Lazy House to have a coffee and scribble a bit, what a charming little Café!
We stayed there until 18:00. We went back to the hotel, then went to the central station and got some sushi. Sweek stayed behind.
Back at the hotel we played some Jackbox until 1:00.
Today we went to check out the Vasa museum. Originally I thought it would be about Knäckebröd, but it actually was about an ill-fated overengineered ship. It was really interesting!
After that we met up with Trax, TODO at Bounce Inc. a huge trampoline arena southwest of Stockholm. It was super fun, they had about every trampoline you could imagine, and we spent quite a while bouncing there!
After that Trax, TODO left and Mag, Sweek and I got some lunch at the food court of the mall.
We went back after and walked around the city with Eko and Jill the rest of the evening.
Today we did a surprise fursuit outing! Radjin and Growl were also staying in Gamla Stan, and Mausie also joined us. We all met at Radjin's hotel at around 11:00, which was only a few minutes from where we stayed. qBaseball, Radjin and Mausie roamed around in Stockholm for the next 1.5 hours!
After that we all walked around the city for a while. I went back to Café Lazy House for a coffee with Radjin, Growl and Shorty at 15:00. Such a chill place and nice company!
We then went back to our hotel, packed out things and took an Uber to the airport.
Mag, Sweek, Ekorren and I flew to Amsterdam together. We arrived at the Mercure hotel near Henrieke's work at 22:50 and flopped onto our beds.
Today Mag, Sweek, Henrieke and I spent all day in the city. We went to a cafe for breakfast, then to GoJoker comics, Henk Comics and Lambiek.
We got some vegan breads at Maoz for lunch, then made a reservation for tomorrow at Upstairs Pannekoeken.
Later we went to Henrieke's office and met Wil there. Then we had some Pizza for dinner and went back to the hotel.
We went to Lambiek again. Then we did a canal boat tour.
We had lunch at Upstairs Pannekoeken, my favorite place in Amsterdam!
Back at the hotel, it was time to say good-bye to everyone. Henrieke and I went to Veldhoven and the others went back to Sweden and the UK!
What a nice post-con trip!
