Location: Vienna
The most colorful day of the year in Vienna! We were lucky again with the weather, no rain and 26°C.
Tabbie, Spikie, Yoru and Nico came by around noon and picked me up, Henrieke stayed at home for now. I brought a small lunch and drinks, and we went to the Museumsquartier garage. Usually we park closer to the start of the parade, but this year the first part of the parade was quiet to commemorate the victims of a school shooting a few days earlier in Graz, hardly the place to run around in fursuits. So we parked at a garage closer to the start of the "regular" parade. Preasul and Sertro joined us as well and were nice enough to spot us.
By the time we got dressed, the parade was well underway and we went right into the action. Godracos found us pretty quickly thanks to the live location sharing I turned on. Everything was great as usual, there were loads of spectators, electro house was being blasted from party trucks and people were dancing in the streets. We also met a couple of other furries on the way, including Raklor!

We suited for about 3 hours until we reached Stadtpark, roughly a quarter of the entire route. Yamavu joined us as well then. Nico was pretty much overheating by that point, I was still fine though thanks to the cooling vest I wore under the suit! Since splitting up wasn't an option, we decided to all go back to the garage. We took the subway which brought us directly there, leading to some fun encounters, since it's not usual that cartoon animals take the train here!

At Museumsquartier we also met Henrieke, who was hanging out with Erika, a cartoon artist friend from Italy we know for ages already. Her friend Umberto and a colleague of hers were also there. We said hi, then went to the cars and got out of our suits.
The others went to Volksgarten to get some drinks, I took a citybike to meet up with Henrieke and the others. They decided to try to go on top of the Haus des Meeres, a sepcatular aquarium in the middle of Vienna, inside an old anti-aircraft radar tower from WW2. There is a very nice café on top, where we had some Sachertorte and coffee together.

Erika and the others went to see the aquarium as well after that, we did not join them since our year card was only valid on weekdays sadly. Henrieke went back home, I took a citybike and biked to Tabbie, Yamavu, Goddy, Sertro, Preasul and the others, who were all sitting at Volksgarten.

We hung out and chatted for a while, then I went back to the car with Tabbie, Spikie, Yoru and Nico and they gave me a ride home. We chatted a little bit at my place, then I flopped on the couch and recovered from this eventful day.
The Pride parade is one of my absolute favorite events in Vienna, and has been super fun again this year. My only regret is not being able to see the parade, but I only have so much energy!
